African Internationalism
African Internationalism is the dynamic, scientific political theory developed by Chairman Omali Yeshitela and the African People’s Socialist Party that breaks out of the mold of colonial thinking, uniting Africans as one people wherever we are located around the world.
African Internationalism recognizes that capitalism was built on the assault by Europe that plundered, enslaved and colonized Africans, Arabs, Asians and Indigenous peoples throughout the world. Therefore capitalism — the basis of the European social system — is parasitic, sucking the blood of oppressed peoples in order to provide the white population with prosperity and democratic rights.
African Internationalism is a theory that follows in the footsteps of Marcus Garvey, Malcolm X and Kwame Nkrumah in struggling for the complete liberation of Africa and African people everywhere and the destruction of all false borders imposed on Africa by European colonialism.
As Chairman Omali Yeshitela writes in his book, An Uneasy Equilibrium: The African Revolution versus Parasitic Capitalism:
“Our Party brought science to our defeated African Liberation Movement at a time when it was generally bogged own in racial and cultural nationalism…Through African Internationalism we were able to disc9over the material basis for the exploitation and oppression of Africans and others in this world.”
